I feel like I have act like I’m a complete different person….and I hate it…

My family means everything to me, I love them even if they are horribly close minded…because I care for them so much I act like they want me too when I’m around them..which is a close minded homophobic good little catholic girl…I really hate myself for it, everything I believe in and care about has to be hidden to keep them from turning me away…

One of these days I’m gonna to have to suck it and deal with my parents once and for all….but I’ve no idea when I’ll actually get the courage to do that.

During the summer when my parents found out about me being bisexual and I wasn’t even the one who told them, my brother found out through my facebook and told my parents. I wasn’t ready to come out I know what would happen and it did. It was horrible and now my parents believe it was just a phase…

I should just stand up to them, but I can’t…

Chik-Fil-A...

As I’m sure everyone has heard chik-Fil-A has stated that they are against Gay Rights! Even donated money to ex-gay therapy! They will not hire any LGBTQ workers, and they refuse to serve openly Gay/Lesbian couples!

AND WHAT IS HAPPENING????? Business is better then ever for them! Everywhere there’s a Chik-Fil-A there are lines out the door, people having to stand and eat because there are no tables left! They run out of food itself before they even close!!!

It’s time to stand up! This is breeding hatred! So long as companies and people like this refuse to accept the fact that we deserve to miserable in marriage just like everyone else, we will never be able to!

Congrats New York for staying strong! And thank you to the cities that have told Chik-Fil-A to get out!

Stand up! We are rainbow and we are proud!

the Gay-straight alliance crap! do any of you here know what you are doing or saying? Seriously have ANY of you thought outside of the box come up with you own conclusions or thoughts on gay/lesbian relationships? or do you all just sit here and let society rule your life? Do ANY of you know what this is? If any of you here are Catholics or even Christians you can NOT endorse this alliance I don’t care who says it’s okay and why ask yourselves this: Would Jesus Christ march in this parade? NO! he would never endorse this parade or even this alliance or hell even gay/lesbian couples EVER do any of you know the story of Sodom and Gomorrah? God himself destroyed not one but TWO cities yes, CITIES not little villages or towns CITIES with thousands of people in the time of Abraham and don’t tell me you don’t know of Abraham everyone does unless you have an IQ of 3 for those who do have an IQ of 3 I will give you the short version: Sodom and Gomorrah were the two first cities in history that endorsed gay/lesbian couples/marriages Abraham was told by God himself that the two cities would be destroyed because of their sin, (why sin? because before modern society called it ‘gay’ and ‘lesbian’ it was called the Sin of Sodom) Abraham begged God to spare the two cities saying if he could even find 5 people that weren’t guilty of this sin to spare them God agreed and he couldn’t…not even 5 so God destroyed them. Now there are more details and such but I won’t get into them cause this is a facebook post and if ANY of you have the guts to stand up and do what I am doing, you will look at this story yourselves and do some freaking research and come to your OWN conclusion who were the first two humans? Adam and Eve NOT Adam and Steve if the Sin of Sodom was okay Why are there two genders? so we can have a choice? bull crap on that marriage/relationships are between a man and a woman nothing else I don’t care if you have a best friend of the same gender that you love like a brother/sister I myself have a best friend for almost 12 years that I love more than my older brother, that is find I don’t care and I know God doesn’t either but when you date or even go so far as to “marry” a person of the same gender you cross the line I will NOT stand here and let this slide without saying something you can bash me and my faith all you want but I know I KNOW that ANYONE that is a gay or lesbian when they die is going straight to hell don’t believe me? LGBTQ Identities Part I - Sexual Identities

Heterosexual: Sexual attraction towards those of a different binary gender.

Homosexual: Sexual attraction towards those of the same gender.

Bisexual: Sexual attraction towards two genders or gender the same or different to yours.

There’s a lot of debating about my provided definition of bisexual. As of now, the definition of bisexuality is very, very subjective. Within the bisexual community (myself included) there are many who are attracted to non-binary individuals and still identify as bisexual.

The term pansexual has not always been around, and many bisexuals identified as bisexual even though the “proper” definition did not fit them as they liked.

Those of us who are attracted to non-binary people have since been fighting for the definition of bisexuality to include us, or at least include the provided definition as another or alternative.

This “wrong” definition of bisexuality was in fact created by bisexuals, not people who aren’t or people who “don’t understand bisexuality” or “are confused about terms.”

Pansexual: Sexual attraction towards all genders.

Polysexual: Sexual attraction towards multiple genders.

Skoliosexual: Sexual attraction towards genderqueer or non-binary people.

Androsexuality: Sexual attraction towards men or masculinity.
*Depending on the person they may use Androphilia. I’ve heard both used for

Gynesexuality: Sexual attraction towards women or femininity.
*Depending on the person that may use Gynophilia.

So, I’m sure most of you are familiar with a similar post that included several icons that had an identity and then a simple definition underneath it. Unfortunately that post was severely problematic. It had exclusive and erasing wording and had several definitions wrong with it.

I decided to create my own with more inclusive language, less erasive language, and proper definitions. (Though definitions can vary from region to region.) These icons are not all of the LGBTQ identities out there.There are limitless identities, and these are just some of the sexual identities that I know of.

Before you say “what about the asexuals?” like so many people before you, you might want to take the time to keep reading before you throw a fit.

This is also not the only one of these I’ll be doing. I’ll be creating more sets. One of which will be for asexual/demisexual/grey-a identities and another will be for gender identities. Stay tuned.

I’m very open to corrections and suggestions as long as they’re not rude.

Lately I had come to grasp the fact that I’m bisexual and I thought I was very open about it. But it turned out while I thought I was out and open I only was to my closest friend. Other friends were shocked and surprised when they found out, and I was left confused.

My biggest fear is people saying I’m only doing this for attention and that I’m not truely bisexual, so I don’t want to be screaming it to the rooftops…yet I don’t want to hide myself after hiding for so long…..

106-year-old transgender woman speaks at Burma’s first IDAHO:

The 106-year-old transgender woman who addressed the first ever public gay rights rally in Burma must have seen incredible changes in her lifetime, from living under British colonialism to Burmese independence to military rule to the recent opening up.

At the first celebration of IDAHO (International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia) in the Burmese capital Rangoon yesterday, a local youth brought the centenarian transgender woman to the stage during a section called Paying Respect to Seniors.

‘She was almost in tears,’ one of the organisers of the event, Aung Myo Min, told Gay Star News. ‘She told the audience how pleased she is to see this event take place in Rangoon.’

Aung Myo Min, from Human Rights Education Institute Burma, said the event in Rangoon was a resounding success. ‘It was very exciting and colourful,’ he said. ‘Youth wearing colorful outfits mingled with older men and women in traditional Burmese dress. Everyone was looking around, eager and excited for the first day of LGBT rights in Burma.’

The programme started with a speech by a well-known Burmese make-up artist. Ko Mar. He said that as a gay man in Burma he has struggled for acceptance. He encouraged young LGBT people to maintain a strong sense of self-worth and to fight for equality.

Then author Atta Kyaw spoke about homophobia in Burmese society. He said the media presents stereotypes of LGBT people which reinforces dangerous misconceptions. In movies for example, he said, gay men are comic characters rather than multi-dimensional.

The events in Rangoon and other cities in Burma went smoothly without any interruption from the authorities.

Aung Myo Min, who has organised IDAHO events for Burmese nationals in Thailand for the last three years, said:

‘I am very happy to see this happen. I feel like the rainbow flag in Burma ties the event to others happening around the world. This event is a historic event that establishes the voice of the Burmese LGBT movement as one that will not be silenced.’
